Don’t forget it’s Coda VII this Friday!
In celebration of its tenth anniversary, Raffles Winds, the combined alumni band for the Raffles schools, is pleased to present CODA VII at the Singapore Conference Hall on 30 December 2011 at 7.30pm.
We have lined up an exciting and varied repertoire this year. Look forward to pieces like the lively “Bugler’s Holiday” by Leroy Anderson, the virtuosic “Equus” by Eric Whitacre and the dramatic “Saga Candida” by Bert Appermont. Enjoy familiar tunes from popular culture with “My Neighbour Totoro” and “Enchanted”. And to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the founding of Raffles Winds, we will premiere an original composition entitled “Decade” composed by Raffles Winds member Lee Jinjun.

Dear all,
Welcome back to our new season of Coda! Coda 7 will be held on 30 December 2011 at the Singapore Conference Hall.
We would like to extend our invitation to all Raffles band alumni this year as we continue to relish the musical experience even after graduation. It’s been 7 years since RWinds started out in 2004, and the band has come a long way since then. RWinds has constantly been growing in strength and musicality, and is a great platform for us to share our passion for music.
This year promises to be different and exciting! We are starting off the year with fewer and more productive practices.
Our first practice will be on 19th May, Thursday (7-9.30pm) at RI/RJC band room. So please keep that day free! Join us in playing pieces such as Orient Express, With Heart and Voice, Jubilee Overture, Equus, Discovery Fantasy, Arioso, and ‘Rats, Bats & Spiders’.
